Brenda Holcomb is in her 5th year of study in the Architectural Engineering program at The Pennsylvania State University. In May 2012, she will raduate with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree with a focus on Structural systems. Brenda will be taking the FE exam this upcoming spring in order to gain EIT status upon graduating.

During the summer of 2009, Brenda enrolled in Penn State’s Sede di Roma study abroad program. For two months Brenda lived in Rome and studied ancient structures and building methods, cartography, and Italian architecture through the ages. The trip was very educational both academically and culturally.

Outside of academics Brenda is president of the Gaming Association of Penn State, a social organization centered on board games. Her hobbies include art, knitting, rock climbing, and camping.
